Directions for Use:

1. Equipment & pH: Ensure all pool equipment functions correctly. Backwash the filter system as per the manufacturer’s guidelines. Adjust the pH levels between 7.2-7.6.
2. Stabilization: Use stabilizers to achieve a 30-40 ppm level, which counteracts the degradative effects of sunlight on chlorine residual. If metals are present, add a stain and scale inhibitor before using this product.
3. Initial Treatment: With the pump activated, spread 250g of this product per 50,000lt directly into the deep end. Continue this process until a 1-3 ppm chlorine residual is achieved (as per a test kit). If granules settle at the pool’s bottom, use a pool brush to disperse. Avoid allowing undissolved product to remain in contact with bleachable surfaces.
4. Maintenance: Regular testing is crucial. An average daily requirement is 2-3 oz. of this product per 10,000 gallons of water. Following this product’s application, a preventive algae treatment is recommended weekly.
5. Super Chlorination: For this, spread 500g per 50,000lt directly into the deep end of the pool. Use a pool brush to disperse any settled granules. As a precaution, avoid any undissolved product remaining in contact with bleachable surfaces.
6. Alternative Application: For water temperatures below 20°C, or as an alternate method, pre-dissolve the product before applying it to the pool’s deep end. Conduct the dissolution outdoors in a clean plastic bucket, stirring with a plastic or wooden spoon. Always add the product to water, and never the other way around. Avoid mixing with other products during pre-dissolution.
