Operation:

• Filter: Filters out sediment and dirt from the pool water, letting only clean water back into the pool.
• Waste: Directly pumps the pool water through the MPV to the waste pipe, bypassing the filter sand bed. Ideal for times when the pool has a high buildup of dirt and leaves.
• Closed: Shuts off the MPV, preventing water from the pump from passing through the filter. Use this position during the cleaning of the weir and pump basket.
• Backwash: Dislodges and washes away dirt and particles from the sand bed, cleaning your filter effectively.
• Bypass: Allows water from the pump to bypass the filter sand bed. This is helpful when using pool chemicals as directed.
• Rinse: Pumps the pool water through the filter down the waste pipe. Use this after backwashing to rinse and settle the sand before switching back to the filter mode.

NOTE: Always ensure to turn off your pump before changing valve positions. Do not operate the pump with the valve in the closed position or when switching valve positions.
