RETURNS AND REFUNDS

GENERAL WARRANTY TERMS

  • Is your product defective/damaged?
    • You can return a product within the prescribed warranty period  – please contact the on-line customer support on whatsapp message+27 63 294 2372 who will assist in the return of your product.
    • Defective returns will be refunded, exchanged or repaired.(At sole discretion of the Manufacturer)
  • Warranty
    • We warrant all our new products against any defects for six (6) months from the time we supplied the products unless otherwise stated on the product or product page. This is the statutory warranty in terms of the Consumer Protection Act of 2008 (CPA). These products are all subject to the manufacturer’s warranties and terms & conditions. Any of our products that become defective during the statutory warranty period (six (6) months from the time the products were supplied) may be returned for us to arrange repair, replacement or a refund. Defective products are those that had a defect or were unsafe when we supplied them. You must prove that the products are defective. As soon as we have been contacted by you to facilitate return of the product to us, we will provide you with the necessary return details. Any customer that is a consumer under the CPA may not decide whether we should either repair, replace defective goods or process a refund this deciscion wil be confirmed by the manufacturer or distributor. We will decide how to compensate customers.
    • Should a product be found defective within seven (7) days from you having received your order, we will collect and return the product. Subject to the manufacturer or its official distributing agent determining that the product can be honoured in terms of the warranty, we will carry all the costs involved in returning, repairing or replacing the product. This will be subject to the manufacturer or its official distributing agent determining that the product can be honoured under the terms of the warranty.
    • Should the product be found defective or become defective after seven (7) days from you having received your order and where the product still falls under the warranty period, the cost of returning the defective product will be for your account and we will cover the cost of returning the repaired or replaced product back to you. This will be subject to the manufacturer or its official distributing agent determining that the product can be honoured under the terms of the warranty. If not, the costs for the return of the product will be for your account.
    • We do not personally carry out the repair; we send the product to the manufacturer to be repaired.Please factor in collection time and delivery to manufacturer,assesment will take approx 2 to 5 working days and repair can be an additional 2 to 7 working days depending on the extent of the repair and stock availability of the spares. We warrant all our repaired products against any further defect for the remaining portion of the statutory warranty period plus a further three months from the time we returned the repaired products.

AQUAMAX

Warranty Coverage

AQUAMAX (By POOL DC) equipment products are covered by a warranty against defects in material and workmanship. The warranty period for all AQUAMAX equipment products is 24 months, calculated from the date of purchase. This warranty specifically covers any defects in materials and workmanship on the product itself. It does not cover travel, installation, or labor costs associated with the removal and reinstallation of the product. All electrical components within the electrical terminal box are not covered in this warranty unless a surge protector is installed to protect the pump during loadshedding.

Sole Obligation of AQUAMAX and Distributors: In the event of a warranty claim, AQUAMAX or its authorized distributors have the sole obligation to the end user, and they have the following options:

  • Repair: If any AQUAMAX product or parts are found to be defective in material or workmanship, AQUAMAX will repair the product or parts at no cost to the customer. We do not personally carry out the repair; we send the product to the manufacturer (Pool DC) to be repaired. Please factor in collection time and delivery to manufacturer, assessment will take approx. 2 to 5 working days and repair can be an additional 2 to 7 working days depending on the extent of the repair and stock availability of the spares. We will check on the the progress of the repair and keep you updated to ensure your pump is back in working condition.
  • Replacement or Credit: In unusual circumstances and at their discretion, AQUAMAX or its authorized distributors may choose to replace the defective product or issue a credit note at the original purchase price (excluding delivery/shipping costs) for the defective goods or parts. This option will be exercised within 7 days of the purchase date.

Surge Protector Recommendation: Due to load shedding, it is important to install a surge protector to the DB box to safeguard your AQUAMAX equipment from electrical surges and fluctuations.

Limitations and Exclusions: Please note that this warranty constitutes the entire warranty with respect to the goods and supersedes all other warranties, expressed or implied, including any implied warranty by distributors, salespersons, or fitness for a particular purpose. It is crucial to comply with the provisions of the manual and accepted engineering practices to maintain the validity of the warranty.

The warranty does not cover damages or delays caused by failure to comply with the provisions of the manual or accepted engineering practices. Additionally, the warranty does not cover warranty periods for repaired or replaced goods, which remain as specified from the original purchase date.

We recommend keeping a copy of your purchase receipt as proof of the purchase date for warranty claims.

It is important to note that warranty claims will be considered invalid if the content of the manual is not followed.

Warranty Coverage: Eartheco equipment products are covered by a warranty against defects in material and workmanship. The warranty period for all Eartheco pool pumps is 24 months, calculated from the date of purchase. This warranty specifically covers any defects in materials and workmanship on the product itself. Warranty Information:

If the manual instructions featured here are adhered to, there will be many years of trouble-free sand filter operation. AquaKing Storm will not be held liable for any damages or delays caused by failure to comply with the provisions of the manual or accepted engineering practices. Please note that warranty claims will be declared invalid if the content of the manual is not adhered to.

The warranty for the AquaKing Storm range of sand filters constitutes the entire warranty with respect to the goods and is in lieu of all other warranties, expressed or implied, including any implied warranty by distributors or salespersons and/or implied warranty of fitness for a particular purpose. AquaKing Storm specifically warrants that all AquaKing Storm range of sand filters are free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of 24 months on the tank and 12 months on the multiport valve and internal parts, from the date of purchase, under normal operating conditions and when installed according to the manufacturer’s instructions. The warranty period is calculated from the date of purchase, and warranty periods for repaired or replaced goods remain at the period specified from the original purchase date of the equipment.

This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship on the product. However, please note that it does not cover travel, installation, or labor costs associated with the removal and/or reinstallation of the product.

AquaKing Storm’s sole obligation to the end-user under this warranty will be, at their discretion:

To repair AquaKing Storm products or parts found to be defective in material or workmanship, OR To replace AquaKing Storm products or issue a credit note at the purchase price (excluding delivery/shipping) for such defective goods/parts only, within 7 days of the purchase date.
